Trend Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate for an established manufacturing client in Garland, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable, organized individual who can help manage incoming and outgoing materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing shipments
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
- Coordinate materials and finished products with production personnel
- Perform basic inventory counts and help maintain organized stock areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
Qualifications
- Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers and shipping/inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience.
